Principal's Welcome

Thank you for your interest in Calvin Christian School! CCS was established in 1952 and our goal from the beginning was to provide Christian education to children so that we may honour the God who created us. If you want to know more about our school, you are invited to explore our website, as it provides a great deal of information about who we are.

Calvin Christian School assists parents by providing Christian instruction for children in grades JK-8 at both our West 5th Campus (Hamilton) and our Unity Campus (Caledonia). The instruction that is provided, whether it is about history, math, art, music, French, computers etc., is Christ-centered, teacher-directed and child-oriented. School Theme 2020/21

Each year we focus on a Christian theme which captures our Christian perspective and the reason for our existence as a Christian school. Our theme this year is - “God is Here, He is Able, He is Faithful” and it is based on Romans 8:39, where it says, "neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." What an appropriate theme given the uncertainty of our times. It is our hope and prayer that staff and students may feel the presence of our powerful God and Saviour as we navigate the complexities of a health crisis this school year.
